The Spirit of Africa.

Ubon Safari is a company born from the profound love and connection to all that is Africa.

Africa is an ancient continent known around the world as the ‘cradle of mankind’. Inspired and captivated by the spirit of our ancestral roots, it is our life’s calling and our true passion to share the magic and wonder that Africa has to offer.

With over 20 years experience in tourism and guiding in Africa, Ubon Safari has unique insights into Africa’s culture, wildlife and wilderness. Whether it is the bush or the beach you want to explore, we create unique, unforgettable itineraries to suit your specific needs and make your African dream become a reality.

Meet the Founders of Ubon Safari
Umang and Beena were both born and raised in Tanzania. As soon as Umang took his first steps, he began a lifetime of exploring the bush and sharing his days with lions. Life in the Serengeti shaped his childhood and turned out to be his greatest teacher. Umang was born with a passion for the bush – a forever student of wildlife and exploration.

Over 11 years ago, Umang met Beena through their shared profession in the travel industry. Beena grew up in Dar es Salaam and held a fascination for the untouched beautiful parts of southern Tanzania. Their profound connection to nature and African wildlife not only led to their marriage but also a shared purpose of inspiring travelers to visit and explore the places they loved so dearly. With two decades of regionally focused travel experience in operations, bookings, reservations, guiding and sustainable tourism, Umang and Beena proudly founded Ubon Safari. Together, they have helped countless guests from all over the world explore the African bush that they call their true home.
