Cheetah plains lies adjacent to the Kruger National Park in the North West corner of Sabi Sands game reserve and has on one boundary Kruger National Park and the other Mala Mala. This means amazing wildlife sightings, great diversity of game viewing and scenic landscape. The Lodge must be entered through the Gowrie gate if driving.

At the lodge you will be blown away with the resident wildlife around the chalets. Here you will have the traditional Luxury African safari experience.

With 8 Luxury chalets accommodating 2 people per chalet. 2 x standard chalet have a en–suite bathroom ( shower only ), air conditioning, overhead fan, mosquito net, 2 x luxury queen bedded chalets with en-suite ( bath and outdoor shower ), air condition, overhead fan, mosquito net. 1 x Luxury Bush Cottage consisting of 2 bedrooms ( 1 x king and 1 x twin ) with inside bath and shower as well as outdoor bath big enough for 2 with air condition and mosquito nets.

The main lodge has a swimming pool, bar and lounge with a viewing deck, Massage facility. Guests can also have a meal in the Boma.

Children over 13 years are welcome.

There are also specialized safaris available whether guests are looking for a birding safari, or a photographic safari.

For photographic safaris renowned wildlife photographers provide tuition and tips- all levels of photographer are welcome. Birding safaris are for wildlife lovers who wish to identify birds by sound, habitat and sight with the likes of bird specialist Martin Benadie. ( please enquire on dates ).

There must be a maximum of 4 confirmed birders for the specialized birding safaris to start.
