10 Km down stream from the Victoria Falls , Matabeleland, North Province of Zimbabwe lies Gorges Lodge which is arguably the most spectacular views in Southern Africa and offers a unique Victoria Falls experience from a peaceful and idyllic base on the edge of the Batoka Gorge. Gorges main lodge and the 10 stone under thatch rooms are set in a lush and magnificent landscaped garden with stunning views across the gorge and of the pounding Zambezi River 200 metres below – truly breathtaking! The 5 luxury Little Gorges tents are set on the edge of the Dibu Dibu Gorge and also provide magnificent views of the Zambezi River.

LITTLE GORGES comprises of 4 twin tents on raised timber and steel platforms. All guests staying at Little Gorges can make use of the facilities at main Gorges including the swimming pool and WiFi.
Activites at The Gorges and Little Gorges includes Guided tour of the Victoria Falls (Victoria Falls Park entry fee included). Guided tour of the craft village. Visit to the local village. School tour (not available in April, August and December during school holidays). Evening traditional dancing display. Gorge-edge walk with sundowners and snacks. Black eagle viewing with sundowners and snacks (dependent on weather). Sundowner cruise (river usage fee included). * All further Victoria Falls activities are available on request but are charged separately. E.g. Rafting, Helicopter Trips and Bungee Jumping.
Children under the age of 7 are only allowed by special arrangement and providing parents sign a disclaimer.
This is subject to restrictions, particularly to do with private dining options and a separate vehicle for game drives and is at the sole discretion of lodge management.
